Abstract

Background. The article aims at researching changeability of structural formations of anterior cranial fossa depending on the skull base type.
Materials and methods. By the method of craniotopometrics the authors studied anterior cranial fossa parameters and structural formations with subsequent calculation of average statistical values and building of correlation models.
Results. Most frequently close and strong bonds of the studied parameters were observed in flexibasilar craniotypes: between the width of the lattice plate middle and rear-thirds, strong – between the width of the lattice plate front 1/3 and width of the cock's comb; the length and width of the cock's comb, width of the lattice plate front 1/3; mediobasilar craniotypes strongly directly depend on the latitudinal lattice sizes of the plate; in platibasilar – the studied parameters are correlated between each other moderately and weakly.
Conclusions. The results of the work are the necessary theoretical base for the probable use by clinicians in working out the tactics of stereotaxic approach to tumorous and other pathologic processes in the field of facial and brain skull pats.

Key words
